British Army Poetry Competition Featured

As we enter the 100 year commemoration of WW1 Armistice, we are looking for poems responding to the theme of Armistice. Please send us your poems of up to 60 lines which explore Armistice in any way.

Judge - Prizewinning Poet Roy McFarlane

Prizes - First Prize £500, Second Prize £300, Third Prize £100 with additional commendation prizes available.

Youth Prize (18 and under) - First Prize £100 book voucher, Second Prize £50 book voucher with additional commendation prizes.

PLUS - The Museum of Military Medicine Commendation of £100 to the Poem which best addresses how the Army has contributed to human and animal healthcare.

PLUS - £200 First Prize, £50 Second Prize and additional commendation prizes for the best poems written by a serving member of the British Army or Army Reserve.
