Remembrance 2016

  • Image Gallery
Remembrance Weekend Millbank branch were delighted to have attended the following Remembrance ceremonies. Firstly 8 of the Branch attended the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in the presence of the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Harry of Wales. 6 members paraded at The Cenotaph which was a very humbling experience. One of our members was also ther in her St. John's Ambulance capacity. Also members attended the service at St. Paul's Cathedral where our branch standard was paraded. They then marched with the veterans to the Mansion House where a curry lunch is enjoyed by all those present. We were all very lucky that the rain stayed away for every ceremony. We were all very honoured to have represented the branch at such special occasions.
