Thursday Dec 8th - Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey

10 members attended The Field of Remembrance which was an honour.  His Royal Highness, Prince Harry of Wales was in attendance and as always charmed all those present, especially some cadets from Barbados who were at the next plot to the QAs. They were very excited. After the act of remembrance we headed off to The Red Lion on Whitehall for lunch. We were delighted to have 3 members from the Newcastle Branch join us also we were pleased to welcome Lesley Steer who has now transferred to the Millbank Branch. On our way we stopped in Trafalgar Square to pay our respects to suffragette Millicent Garrett Fawcett
A grand time was had by all.
